The Caledonian Club
School leaver membership
All Scottish school leavers male and female, who fulfil the membership criteria of one Scottish parent or grandparent, are welcome to apply for membership of The Caledonian Club.
The Club recognises the importance of attracting new younger Members who add colour, character and diversity to the Club. A newly created category of membership is available to pupils in their last year of study, or in search of work or indeed who may be remaining in Scotland but have occasion to visit London on a regular basis.
When Members join The Caledonian Club they also become part of great network of clubs in the most important cities of the world. In Scotland the New Club in Princes Street, Edinburgh the Western Club in Glasgow and the Royal Northern and University Club in Aberdeen have full reciprocity and have accommodation.
You can be "at home" in central New York in The Princeton Club, be welcomed at the Hong Kong Club, have a long lunch at the Automobile Club of France in Paris or have a beer in The Australian Club in Sydney. In London Members also have special arrangements with the East India, The Hurlingham, the Oxford and Cambridge Club and more recently the City of London Club.
The School Leaver category of membership at The Caledonian Club has no joining fee and a one off subscription, which covers Members from the ages of 18-25yrs. To apply please speak to your headmaster who will propose you or contact the Club direct.
The Club holds regular open days, providing the ideal opportunity to visit the Club and meet Members. If you would like to attend the next Open Day or require further information on this category of membership please contact the Membership and Events Department on 020 7235 5162.
