The Caledonian Club is very much a home from home for like-minded Scots in London. A convivial meeting place to celebrate Scottish traditions the Club has a varied calendar of events.

The Club also has a range of societies that play an integral part in Club life. Golfing Society Members play in a number of competitions throughout the season against Clubs in the Uk and abroad at prestigious courses.

The Racing Society currently has one horse in training and Members may buy shares in syndicates and have the benefit of using the Owners' and Trainers' facilities at race meetings around the south east. The popular Number 9 Society holds lunches on the first Tuesday of each month, with speakers from the world of politics and industry.

Other Club societies include the Snooker Society, which won the inter-Club competition in 2003. The Bridge Society has a small group of players who meet on a weekly basis, and would welcome beginners and experienced players alike. The Musical Society has grown in reputation with a programme of concerts in spring and autumn featuring world-class young musicians. The Shooting and Fishing Society is long established at the Club and partakes in inter-Club competitions and regular shoots.
